A 5 ft. wide footing behind this retaining wall foundation allows us to pour a wall to retain up to 10 feet of gravel back.

We pumped in many yards of cement for this pour!

Chiseled into solid decomposed granite, this house is firmly set on the hillside.

When the forms are removed, we can see the concrete finish.

We have started to insulate and reinforce the downstairs floor to lay in the Pex Tube for the radiant heating.

After installing rubber waterproofing sheets and insulation panels, we used 40 yards of 1"open gravel to back-fill.

Notice the drain lines installed on the footing to assist drainage around the house.
